#HarFest2017

Earlier this year Incredible Edible Rossendale were sad to see Paul Scott-Bates step down from is position of Chair after seven years.  We would like to thank him for his guidance and direction over that time.

Paul has decided to 'pass over the baton' to a newly formed collective and we wish him every best wish.  He has once more arranged the live music for the event and provided invaluable support to Incredible Edible Rossendale.

The stalls at HarFest this year have been compiled and arranged by The Clog Market and we hope that you enjoy some of the fabulous local and not-so-local businesses that will be on display.

We are also holding our first Make And Bake competition where you can enter one of four categories:
Chmapion Chutney Maker
Jammiest Jam Maker
Cake Baker Extraordinaire
A Garden On A Plate Artiste

Full details on how to enter can be found here.

Live music this year comes from five artists.  Opening will be Matt Rynn, a talented singer and guitarist from neighbouring Ramsbottom, he is also a big supporter of Incredible Edible Ramsbottom.

Following Matt we see the return of Jamie Stevens who opened #HarFest2016.  Not only is he a great songwriter and performer but he also designed the music poster for this years event!

All Hail Hyena come from Burnley and Pendle and will play a mesmerising live show with some quite brilliant music.  Lead singer Jay Stansfield and drummer Rob Ashworth make a return to HarFest after both appearing as solo artists back at #HarFest2015!

From Cumbria come We Are Quasars.  An amazingly powerful trio who are gaining reputation and respect in their home county, this is one of their rare excursions away from home and we are delighted to have them at #HarFest2017.  Witness some beautifully crafted songs.

Amy from We Are Quasars won't have long to wait for her next live performance as she also plays with this years headliners mylittlebrother who make a triumphant return having played at #HarFest2014 and an acoustic set at The Whitaker's Live Lounge in February of this year.  They have recently played on the same bill as the legendary Bryan Wilson of The Beach Boys and are BIG news in Cumbria.  Band leader Will Harris has been described as one of the best songwriters around in todays music scene and it will only be a matter of time before people ask did they really see mylittlebrother play at Whitaker Park!
